CasPeR The CPR Dog is a specialised training manikin designed to teach canine CPR techniques to veterinary professionals and pet owners. This realistic trainer allows instructors to demonstrate and practise essential life-saving procedures, including the correct rescue position for administering CPR, tongue movement for clearing the airway and sealing the oral space, and the proper position for checking the femoral pulse. It also enables learners to practise accurate hand placement for chest compressions, determine the correct depth and technique, and perform rescue breathing via mouth-to-snout.
The manikin features an individual-use airway and lung system, which eliminates cross-contamination between students. Each airway is disposable and can be installed or removed easily without tools. When ventilating the manikin, the chest rises in proportion to the volume of air delivered, providing immediate feedback on technique. CasPeR is supplied in a convenient box with a carry handle, includes 100 airway systems, and comes with a squeeze bulb for generating femoral pulses, making it an ideal solution for classroom and clinical training environments.
