Compliant with BS EN 16139:2013 Level 2 standards for strength, durability, and safety, the chair features an ergonomic design to promote correct posture and comfort. Integrated handgrips assist learners in practising safe patient transfers from standing to seated positions. The solid beech frame (PEFC accredited) is constructed using mortice and tenon joints for exceptional strength and finished with an anti-bacterial varnish for hygiene. Upholstered in fire-retardant and antimicrobial vinyl, the chair includes a hygiene gap to prevent dirt accumulation and allow easy cleaning. Available in fixed or removable seat options—the latter reversible for additional clearance at the front of the chair.
