The Adult Venipuncture and Injection Training Arm is designed to teach venipuncture and injection techniques, including starting IVs, in a realistic and safe environment. The skin rolls as you palpate the vein, and the characteristic “pop” can be felt when the needle penetrates the vein, providing authentic tactile feedback.
Veins are accessible at the antecubital fossa, along the forearm, and on the back of the hand, allowing practice at common venepuncture sites. Intramuscular injection training is equally realistic, with a foam pad simulating muscle tissue and natural bonelike landmarks for accurate technique.
The arm features replaceable skins and veins for extended use, and an aerosol sealant is available to seal punctures and prevent leakage. Available in light, medium, or dark skin tone, this trainer is ideal for nursing education, clinical skills development, and patient care training.
