This versatile simulator allows learners to perform a wide range of skills, including tracheostomy care, suctioning, dressing changes, cuff inflation, and NG tube management through nasal and oral access.
Featuring realistic anatomical landmarks such as the trachea, oesophagus, lungs, and stomach, the simulator provides an authentic learning experience. For added realism, hydroxyethyl cellulose can be mixed with water to simulate mucous-like fluids, and fluid can be introduced into the lungs and stomach for suctioning practice. Learners can also practise advanced procedures such as gastric lavage and gavage, feeding tube insertion and removal, nasoenteric and oesophageal tube care, and intubation using a laryngoscope blade and size 6.0 ET tube.
