The Advanced Injection Belly is an essential training tool for teaching proper techniques for insulin pump infusion set placement and self-injection. It demonstrates how to correctly insert and rotate infusion sets while avoiding the 5 cm area around the navel, as well as practising various types of self-injections, including pen-style injections.
This model features lifelike skin and realistic stomach tissue that can be pinched for accurate simulation. A backing layer prevents needles from penetrating through, and the soft material withstands repeated punctures without showing holes. Adjustable straps allow the trainer to be worn by a manikin or a human participant for realistic practice. Please note: liquid injection is not recommended.
