The Overbed Table – Height Adjustable, Melamine is a hospital-grade piece of furniture, now widely used in healthcare simulation suites to replicate authentic ward environments. Ideal for training scenarios involving patient care, bedside procedures, and ergonomic positioning, this table helps learners practise real-world techniques in a safe and controlled setting.
Compliant with BS 2483:1977 and BS EN 438-2:2016 standards, the table features a gas-damper height adjustment system (735 mm – 1045 mm) for smooth and precise positioning. A built-in safety feature prevents trapping between the bed/chair and table, ensuring realistic and safe simulation exercises. The extruded aluminium column provides linear height adjustment, while the cantilever tubular base is available in a C-shape for beds and chairs or straight-leg design for beds only. The melamine top includes varnished edges and is available with either a flat surface or a varnished beech lip for added realism. Fitted with 50 mm twin-wheel non-marking castors, the table offers easy manoeuvrability and stability during training.
