AVA is a neonatal life support training manikin designed to simulate the interventions shown to improve outcomes in neonatal care. Built to the proportions and presentation of a full-term newborn, it supports realistic handling, positioning and assessment throughout neonatal resuscitation and life support training scenarios.
The manikin enables training across the full spectrum of neonatal interventions, from initial assessment through to mechanical ventilation, chest compressions, umbilical venous access and intraosseous access. Its realistic airway anatomy, infant range of motion and compressible ribcage help learners develop practical skills aligned with neonatal life support programmes.
